Niš
The existing airport in Niš needed capacity expansion due to the increased frequency of air traffic in this area.
DETAILS
We designed an additional 10,074m2 of new space, with the new part of this public building intended for departing passengers.
- It will have 10 check-in counters.
- The maximum expected waiting time in line will be 10 minutes.
- Boarding will take place at 4 gates, each designed so that passengers can be transported to the aircraft by bus.
A large glass facade covering the left and right blocks from the main entrance of the building is enriched with asymmetrical concrete columns in a dark brown color.
This is one of those projects that requires a lot of thought due to its nature and the numerous requirements it needs to meet, but it is also a project that inspires and leads to new ambitions and approaches in architecture.
