Senjak
Villa on Senjak.
DETAILS
The building was designed to make the most of the very unfavorable conditions that prevail in this zone – limited allowed occupancy and low number of floors.
The result is:
- A low modern building, inspired by Bauhaus
- 2 underground and 2 above-ground floors
- Stone facade with different types of composite cladding.
Given the large area of the plot itself, the building, despite the small footprint, occupies a large surface area at the base. This sprawl of the building posed a problem in adapting to fire safety standards.
The standards led to the need for an additional evacuation staircase that leads directly from the garage to the outside.
